Women’s Health, Pelvic Floor, and Orthopedics
Gina was born and raised in Nebraska. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2001. While at NWU Gina earned four NCAA All American awards as a sprinter in track and field. She was academic All American and National Student Athlete. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Health Science Center in 2004. In her final clinical at UCHSC she went to Nicaragua to teach the local therapists evidence based techniques.
After graduate school Gina married her husband Mark. She worked for a hospital providing inpatient care and then primarily outpatient orthopedic care. Gina has two girls; in which she gave birth to all naturally. This sparked her interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She has taken continuing education courses focusing on pelvic floor dysfunctions and is working toward earning her pelvic floor specialist certification. She treats: urinary incontinence, organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, lumbopelvic instability, pre/post partum related issues, coccyx disorders, fecal constipation and colorectal conditions, scar tissue management, sexual dysfunction, post prostatectomy incontinence, and prostatitis. She has a strong interest and enjoys working with pre and post partum patients. She is incorporating pilates to aide in the recovery of these patients. In addition she loves working with athletes, specifically runners, and helping them achieve their recreational or competitive goals.
Gina and her family relocated to Medford from Colorado to participate in all the Rogue Valley has to offer through camping, biking, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and building sand castles by the ocean with her girls.
