Tara grew up in Seward, Alaska. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Physical Therapy and a Minor in Spanish at Washington State University in 2007. She completed her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University in 2012. Her experience and love for working in the rehabilitation process grew during her time as an outpatient physical therapist at Providence Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. She joined Jackson County Physical Therapy in August, 2014.
Tara’s professional areas of interest include pre/post-operative rehabilitation, lower extremity injuries, cervical disorders, and general orthopedic conditions. She believes in personalized treatment that includes manual techniques, education, gait and balance training, as well as therapeutic exercises.
Tara enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel (who is a physical therapist at Jackson County Physical Therapy in Medford), and is blessed to be surrounded by family and friends in the Ashland area. She loves to run outdoors and swim.
