Tim was born in San Jose, California, and graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a B.S. in Biology in 1980. He taught health, science, and P.E. for four years at a special education high school in Portland before attending graduate school. Tim earned his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1986. He has been working as a physical therapist in the Rogue Valley since 1986. He is one of the founding partners of JCPT.
Tim is a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a certified Strength Training Specialist. Tim’s professional areas of interest are orthopedic and sports medicine including injuries to the back, neck, knee, hip, ankle, shoulder and temporomandibular joint (TMJ), with emphasis on exercise, education and manual therapy.
He enjoys running, camping, biking, and time with his family.
Tim and his wife, Candace, have four children and live in Ashland.
