Ellen, PT, DPT grew up in New London, New Hampshire. She received her Bachelors of Clinical Health Studies with a minor in nutrition from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 2010. Ellen went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College in 2012. Ellen has five years experience working in outpatient orthopedics, aquatics, and neurological rehabilitation. Ellen joined Jackson County Physical Therapy in July of 2017.
Ellen’s professional areas of interest include post-operative rehabilitation, treating cervical and shoulder conditions, as well as general orthopedic conditions. She has strong skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training to decrease pain and maximize functional outcomes. Ellen also has a strong interest in yoga and enjoys incorporating yoga poses to help her patients develop functional strength and improve motion. She is in the process of becoming a certified Kinesiotape practitioner.
Ellen is new to Southern Oregon and loves the local culture and spending time outside. She enjoys hiking, practicing jiu jitsu, traveling the world, and spending time with her fiancé and two dogs.
